Milan Linate Airport

Milan Linate Airport (LIN) stands as one of the trio of airports connecting Milan globally, following the larger Malpensa Airport.

The nearest airport

Notably named Airport Enrico Forlanini in honor of the Italian inventor and aviation pioneer, it holds the distinction of being the closest airport to Milan, situated just 5 miles (8 km) southeast of the city center.

Despite its proximity, Linate Airport records the fewest passengers among the three international airports, welcoming approximately 9.5 million passengers annually.

Linate Airport primarily facilitates domestic flights and a select number of flights from other European Union countries.
